The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous since the prayer of the writ petition itself is restricted to process the petitioner's renewal application upto 28.02.2017.

Under such circumstances, the writ petition is dismissed for having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected MP is closed.
