O R D E R

Heard Mr.P.Ganesan, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.O.R.Magheswaran, the learned Government Advocate, accepting notice on behalf of the respondent.

Though the petitioner has filed this Contempt Petition, alleging willful disobedience of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.26885 of 2016,

dated 02.08.2016, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner's representations, dated 08.08.2016, and 18.08.2016, may be directed to be considered by the respondent sympathetically, as the petitioner sought for transfer to the Plains on health ground.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submits that a reasonable time may be granted to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, this Contempt Petition stands disposed of, by directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner, dated 18.08.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
