O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.09.2015 and directing the respondent to issue patta in Survey No.145/5 in respect of the land situated in Krishnapuram Village, Dharmapuri Sub Registration District, Dharmapuri Revenue District.

2.Mr.M.D.Thirunavukkarasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner had submitted his application as early as on 07.09.2015 along with the requisite fee, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far.

3.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
