Mr.C.Jayaprakash, Government Advocate for R1 to 5 Notice dispensed with for R6 Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the official respondents to cancel the patta for the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, which is now standing in the name of the sixth respondent, based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner claims that erroneously, patta for the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, was issued in favour of the sixth respondent. The petitioner seeks for cancellation of the same. The petitioner had given a representation on 22.01.2026 to the official respondents seeking for cancellation of patta. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 5. Since no adverse order is passed against the sixth respondent, notice to the sixth respondent is dispensed with by this Court. 4.The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this writ petition in support of the petitioner's request for cancellation of sixth respondent's patta. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the same.

5.No prejudice would be caused to the official respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the sixth respondent and any other third party whom the fifth respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the fifth respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2026 seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the sixth respondent for the property, morefully

described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the sixth respondent or any other third party whom the fifth respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
