This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to act upon the OnLine application submitted by the petitioner on 01.02.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the subject property for demarcation of 1/4

boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.K.Hemanathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is placing reliance upon the sale deed dated 16.02.2022 and the patta that has been issued in his name in Patta No.1065. The petitioner wanted to conduct survey in the subject property and submitted an application by paying necessary charges. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to act upon the OnLine application submitted by the petitioner on 01.02.2024 and conduct survey in the subject property based on the title document and the patta that has already been issued in the name of the petitioner. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any rival claims, the survey shall be conducted in their 2/4

presence.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
