Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and sixth respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2022 and also direct the respondents 2 to 8 to take steps to restore the possession of the property namely measuring an extent of 1800 sq.ft in Survey No.37, Keelanaikarai village, Tiruvannamalai District to the petitioners who were dispossessed illegally by respondent 5 to 9 on 17.12.2021 and issue housing patta as per G.O.(Ms).No.318 dated 30.08.2019, G.O.(Ms).No.480 dated 11.09.2020 and G.O.(Ms).No.267 dated 17.09.2021 in respect of the above said property.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition may be dismissed as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner to approach competent Civil Court. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach competent Civil Court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
