Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Certiorari to call for the concerned records relating to Section 5 notice number nil under Tamil Nadu Act III of 1905 dated 22.04.2015 passed by the respondent and quash the same.

interim orders. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that at present, he received no instructions.
2.We may also note that the issue sought to be raised is arising from the notice issued under Section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, on the plea of the petitioners that as per revenue records, S.No.46 is a lake, but the said land is not in use for lake. This issue does not survive any more in view of the Full Bench judgment of this Court in T.K.Shanmugam v. The State of Tamil Nadu, rep. by its Secretary and others, reported in 2015-5-L.W. 397, as the revenue entry in respect of water area cannot be changed.
The aforesaid being the position, the writ petitions are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
