Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records from the 1t Respondent relating to the award in I.D.No.105 of 2005 dated 31.01.2017 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to grant promotion and monetary benefits to Messrs K.Pandian, M.Palaniappan and S.Murugesan as claimed by the Petitioner Union in the said I.D.No.105 of 2005 and award costs.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed assailing the impugned order of the 1st respondent/Labour Court in I.D.No.105 of 2005 and for a consequential direction to the 2nd respondent to grant promotion and monetary benefits to Messrs K.Pandian, M.Palaniappan and S.Murugesan as claimed by the Petitioner Union in the said I.D.No.105 of 2005.

2. However, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioner union submitted that subsequent to the award passed in I.D.No.105 of 2005, the respondent management has paid the monetary benefits to K.Pandian,

M.Palaniappan and S.Murugesan.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
