ORDER
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief : "To direct the respondents to revise the pension based on last drawn salary of the petitioner and pay the difference in the pension from the date of pension till payment, to pay the salary arrears for six years from 01.11.2011 to 28.02.2017 based on the II Review Settlement, to pay the salary increment arrears for 4 months from February 2017 to May 2017 and pay the interest payable for 1 year on the PF, Gratuity, El surrender by Considering the petitioners representation dated 24.11.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court."
2. The petitioner was appointed as Conductor in the respondent-Transport Corporation on 04.02.1992 at Thirukovilur Branch. The petitioner had put in 28
years of continued service and had retired on 30.04.2020. The petitioner would submit that his last drawn basic salary was Rs.38,900/-, but he had been paid his pension amount, calculating his previous year basic salary at Rs.37,800/-, which resulted in a loss of pension amount of Rs.432/- every month. In this regard, the petitioner had made several representations to the respondents including the TNSTC Employees Pension Fund Trust, the third respondent herein, but the respondents failed to rectify the error in pension fixation, to date.
3. The petitioner would further submit that the II Review Settlement was issued to him in February 2017, with retrospective effect from 01.11.2011. But the respondents failed to pay the salary arrears for six months from 01.11.2011 to 28.02.2017 and the increment arrears for four months i.e., from February 2017 to May 2017. This apart, the petitioner would also submit that the retirement benefits namely PF, Gratuity and EL surrender amounting to Rs.14,00,784/-, which he is entitled to receive on the date of his retirement i.e.,30.04.2020, was credited to his bank account only after a delay of one year i.e., 02.05.2021, however, no interest was paid for the belated payment.
4. Though the petitioner had made several representations alleging nonpayment of pension and arrear amounts, his recent representation was on 24.11.2025, detailing the above. Since, the same was not considered by the respondents to date, the petitioner is before this Court seeking a mandamus.
5. Mr.R.U.Dinesh Raj Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 4, would submit that the Competent Authority is the second respondent and that the petitioner may be directed to submit a copy of his representation to the second respondent.

Considering the plea of the petitioner that despite his repeated representations, no steps have been taken by the respondents to revise the pension fixation even after six years of review settlement, and also the respondents had not paid the salary arrears and the interest for the delayed retirement benefits, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to forward a copy of the said representation to the second respondent herein, forthwith.
