CO M M O N O R D E R Today, when the Criminal Original Petitions are taken up for hearing, the learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had passed away on 02.05.2016. The learned Special Public Prosecutor had produced the Death Certificate of R.Anandan, Son of Ramasamy, resident of No.226, Gandhi Road, T.R.Pattanam, Karaikal District, Puducherry - 609 606, vide Certificate No.D4875927533/2016 issud by the City Health Officer (i/c), Department of Public Health, Chennai. From the Death Certificate, it is seen that R.Anandan had passed away on 02.05.2016 at Apollo Hospital, Chennai.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Public Prosecutor and based on the Death Certificate produced, nothing survives for consideration in all the Criminal Original Petitions. Hence, all the Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
