ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.86 of 2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.86 of 2015 for the offences under Sections 417, 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC on 28.02.2015 and thereafter, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in this case is almost over and the respondent police will file the final report within a period of six weeks. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.86 of 2015 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
