[Order was delivered by R.SUBBIAH, J] The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.26769 of 2018 dated 24.10.2018.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Advocate General - V for respondents.

3. This Court, under orders in W.P.No.26769 of 2018 dated 24.10.2018 directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 26.10.2016 and pass appropriate orders, after conducting enquiry, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of that order. Though the order of this Court has not been complied with within the stipulated time, it is represented by learned Additional Advocate General - V that the petitioner's application was considered by respondent and the same was rejected on 12.04.2019. This Court has also perused the order passed by the respondent. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter.

Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent, if he so desires.
