O R D E R

Though the petitioner has come up with this Writ petition seeking quashment of the award passed by the 1st respondent in I.D.No.17 of 2006 dated 16.03.2011, in and by which, the 1st respondent directed the petitioner-management to pay the backwages and other benefits payable to the late workman viz.,R.Chakaravarthy for the period from 01.09.1999 to 10.08.2006 in favour of his legal heirs, the respondents 2 to 6 herein, however, in view of the fact that the Writ petition is of the year 2013, the 2nd and 3rd respondents have since died, even after a lapse of about 12 years, till date, the petitioner has not taken any steps to implead the Legal Heir(s) of the deceased respondents and till date, the petitioner has not taken steps to serve notice on the respondents 4 to 6, which clearly shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this Writ petition. 2/4

2. For the reason aforesaid, this Writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. 05.03.2025 skt NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Speaking order : Yes / No To The Presiding Officer, Additional Labour Court, Vellore.
