PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to initiate departmental proceedings against the 5th and 6th respondents and to take action against the 7th respondent and his henchmen in accordance with law, based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2023 and further direct the 4th respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to initiate departmental proceedings against the 5th and 6th respondents and to take action against the 7th respondent and his henchmen in accordance with law, based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2023 and further direct the 4th respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. Perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner was summoned for an enquiry. After conducting the said enquiry, the current paper has been closed.

4. In view of the above, this Court finds no illegality in the conduct of the enquiry proceedings. Therefore, the relief sought for in this petition cannot be granted.
