O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction, directing the respondent to conduct a survey of the petitioner's property on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2020.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, she is the owner of the property in Survey No.276, Old T.S.No.15/26, now T.S.No.68, Block 6, Ward A/16, Gandhi Nagar, Arakkonam Town. She has made an application before the respondent to survey the petitioner's property and she has also paid necessary fees on 01.06.2020. But, so far, her application was not considered and the Surveyor was not appointed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner may be directed to appear before the respondent and produce necessary documents showing her title over the property and thereafter, suitable orders will be passed.

Considering the limited prayer sought in the present Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent and produce necessary title deeds showing her title and on filing her documents, the respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner and if any rival claim is pending, the respondent also directed to consider the rival claims and pass suitable orders to survey the property after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as rival claimant. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
