ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the husband of one Mrs. Latha, aged about 35 years. According to the petitioner, Mrs.Latha is missing from 12.03.2017 onwards.

In this regard, the petitioner has made to the complaint to the respondent police. Since Mrs.Latha was not secured by the respondent police, the petitioner has come up with this habeas corpus petition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the enquiry, held so far, revealed that Mrs.Latha has eloped with one Babu @ Sakthivel on her own volition and there is no illegal detention.

Since we are convinced that there is no illegal confinement, we are unable to grant any relief sought for by the petitioner. Therefore, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed. However, the respondent is directed to continue the investigation.
