This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.483 of 2022 on the file of 2nd respondent Police to a Crime Branch Department or any other investigating agency not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police to conduct effective investigation, and to file a final report within a stipulated time as directed by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), investigation in this case is completed, final report is filed, taken on file in C.C.No.180 of 2022 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur.

3.In view of the submission of learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that investigation in this case is completed, final report filed, taken on file in C.C.No.180 of 2022, on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur, the prayer seeking transfer of investigation cannot be entertained.
