The petitioners claim compensation at the rate of Rs.40,00,000/-, Rs.20,00,000/- and Rs.40,00,000/- respectively before the Tribunal for the Motor accident where the petitioners lost their family members namely Shayin, who is the wife of the 1st petitioner and the mother of the 2nd petitioner and Mohammed Suban, who is the elder son of the 1st petitioner and the elder brother of the 2nd petitioner and also for the injuries suffered by the 1st petitioner.

3. The petitioners now seek expeditious disposal of the MCOP proceedings pending before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Vellore in MCOP.Nos.226 to 228 of 2024.

4. Considering the nature of reliefs sought for in these revision petitions, notice to the respective respondents is dispensed with.

5. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and I have also perused the materials available on record.

6. It is seen that the 3rd respondent/insurance company has entered appearance in the said MCOPs and the 1st respondent has been served with notice. However, the 2nd respondent is yet to be served with notice.

7. Considering that the petitioners seek speedy disposal of the MCOP proceedings in MCOP.Nos.228, 227 & 226 of 2024 respectively, filed seeking compensation for the death of their family members and also for the injuries suffered by the 1st petitioner, I am inclined to issue a direction to the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Vellore to ensure that the service and pleadings are completed within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, the trial shall commence in the main MCOPs and the same shall be disposed Page No.3 of 5

of within a period ten (10) months thereafter.

8. With the above observations and directions, these Civil Revision petitions stand disposed of. No costs. 24.07.2025 skt Index : Yes / No Speaking order : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No To The Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Vellore.
