O R D E R

This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents to provide proper food to the petitioner's son by name V.M.Elangovan, aged 39 years, life prisoner C.T.No.5472, who is confined in the Central Prison-I, Puzhal, Chennai, as a 'A' class prisoner.

2. Today, a counter affidavit has been filed by the 3rd respondent, viz., the Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison-I, Puzhal, Chennai, wherein in paragraph 8, it has been stated as follows:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

"8. With reference to the content made in paragraph 8 of the affidavit, it is submitted that a representation was made by the petitioner for the same necessary action was taken. The said convict was already providing with nutritions and hygienic food as per the Rules and as per the advice of the Chief Medical Officer."

3. In view of the fact that the 3rd respondent has been providing proper food to the prisoner, which is meant for the 'A' class prisoners, we find that no further orders are necessary.
