ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the first Respondent to initiate appropriate action under Sec.217 of Tamil Nadu District Municipality Act, 1920 based on the petitioner's complaint dated 15.09.2020 within a stipulated time fixed by the Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the second respondent and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
