ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to defreeze the Account No. 913010004580825 of the petitioner maintained in the second respondent and Account No. 410201500200 maintained in the third respondent.

2. The petitioner is an accused in Crime No. 4 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Section 406, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 r/w 34 of IPC, alleging that the petitioner had received a sum of Rs.35 lakhs from several victims. Thereafter, the petitioner failed to obtain any job and also refused to return back the money which was received by her. Therefore, the first respondent issued direction to the second respondent to freeze the account of the petitioner and accordingly, it was frozen.

3. Subsequently, all the procedure as contemplated under BNSS 2020 has been followed and as such, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be considered.
