Common Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2024, 23.02.2024 and to reconsider the 3rd respondent's order dated 14.02.2024 and 20.02.2024. (In all W.Ps') For petitioners : Mr.S.Senthilkumar For respondents : Mr.K.Sathish Kumar Standing Counsel COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed for direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 05.03.2024 and 23.02.2024 respectively and to reconsider the 3rd respondent's order dated 14.02.2024 and 20.02.2024 respectively.
2. The petitioners had joined as Supervisor in TASMAC Shop at No.512, 644, 729 and 931 Chennai. During inspection found that the petitioners along with salesman sold the beer bottle for Rs.180/- instead of 2/4
Rs.170/- here, Rs.10/- which was additional to the Maximum Retail Price (MRP). The petitioners were suspended from service by an order dated 14.02.2024 and 20.02.2024 respectively. Therefore, the petitioners submitted representations to revoke the order of suspension.
3. Without going into the merits of the main writ petitions, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' representation dated 23.02.2024 & 05.03.2024 respectively and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No order as to costs.
