ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 12.01.2024 and reminder dated 23.10.2025

and issue NOC for mutating land records in the name of the Owners with regard to an extent of 1.57 and 0.57 acres in S.Nos. 438/1 and 438/2 Hosur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri district.

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner purchased the subject land vide sale deed dated 22.05.1980 and the said land was acquired in the year 1991 and awards were passed on 02.09.1994 and this Court vide order dated 15.11.2001 set aside the acquisition proceedings. It is the grievance of the petitioner that their lands were not returned even after a lapse of 30 years. Hence, made a representation seeking for issuance of NOC for mutation of land records with respect to the subject land, which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the cases, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 12.01.2024 and 23.10.2025 and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
