Respondent (Crime No.72 of 2008) PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed to modify the conditional order that the petitioner is ordered to be granted on bail with condition No.7 "that the sureties shall produce the (Original and Xerox) Fixed Deposit receipts to the tune of Rs.10,000/- existing in their name to show their eligibility to stands as a surety before this Court and the F.D., shall be for a minimum period of one year, before any Nationalised Bank or any Post Office." and may be modified the condition and thus render justice.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to modify the bail condition No.7 "that the sureties shall produce the (Original and Xerox) Fixed Deposit receipts

to the tune of Rs.10,000/- existing in their name to show their eligibility to stands as a surety before this Court and the F.D., shall be for a minimum period of one year, before any Nationalised Bank or any Post Office."

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court modified the condition of the trial Court in Crl.M.P.No.36116 of 2024 in S.C.No.326 of 2017 in paragraph No.7, which reads as follows:

"7. The petitioner shall execute bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the trial Court."

4. This Criminal Original Petition stands modified. The other condition shall remain intact.
