Respondent PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of land situated in Survey Nos.246/2 and 234/2, Chinnakkampalayam Village and Post, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District in so far relates to half share in total extet of 7.69 acres.

O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondent to issue patta for the land belong to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 16.11.2020.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, he is the owner of the property in Survey Nos.246/2 and 234/2, at Chinnakkampalayam Village and Post, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District and he has applied for grant of patta to the respondents on 16.11.2020, but so far, it was not considered and no order has been passed. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
