ORDER

The petitioner was appointed as a Village Administrative Officer on 17.2.95 and she retired from service on 31.8.2007.

As her services were not regularised, the District Collector, Thiruvarur sent a proposal to the Government recommending her case for regularisation of service and pension on 1.12.2009. When the proposal sent by the District Collector, Thiruvarur did not evoke any response, she gave a representation on 21.6.2011. After waiting for a long time, she has again given a representation on 1.5.2017. But till date, no response is forthcoming. Therefore, a direction is sought for to consider the case of the petitioner on the basis of the proposal dated 1.12.2009.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, sought six weeks' time to consider the pending representation of the petitioner.

3. Placing on record his request, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner, in the light of the proposal dated 1.12.2009, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, W.M.P.No.36068 of 2017 is closed. No costs.
