O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by S.Vimala, J.,) This petition has been filed by the petitioner / wife of the detenue seeking production of him, by name, Panchatcharam, who is aged 53 and who is said to be missing from 08.04.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides.
3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that all possible steps on earth has been taken to trace out the detenue, but still it is not possible to produce him. From the records, it is stated that the detenue, Panchatcharam, along with one Nagaraj used to go to Puducherry, because of their drinking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
habit and it seems to be a frequent occurrence. In such circumstances, the respondent has registered a case of man missing and taking continuous and sincere steps to trace out the detenue. A Status report to that effect has also been filed by the first respondent herein.
4. In view of the above, as and when the detenue is traced out, the respondents shall give information to the petitioner herein. This Habeas Corpus Petition is closed accordingly. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar srk To 1.
