PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate action and consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.8.2017.

2. By way of this writ petition, designed as a public interest litigation, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 31.8.2017.

3. The petitioner, who claims himself to be the devotee of Arulmighu Thirukachi Nambi Temple, Senneerkuppam Village, Poonamalee, sent a representation dated 31.8.2017 to the respondents pointing out certain irregularities in the manner of administration of the said temple including matters concerning finances of the temple.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the second respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation of the petitioner dated 31.8.2017 on merits and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the writ petitioner.
