Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records of the first respondent culminating with the order of detention bearing BDFGISSV No.1815/2014 dated 13.11.2014 passed by the 1st respondent herein detaining petitioner's brother Ramesh under section Act XIV of 1982 and qush the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the person of the detenu Thiru.Ramesh, son of Radhakrishnan, male, aged about 36 years, before this Court now detained in the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and thereby set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.) The petitioner, who is sister of the detenu herein, viz., Ramesh, son of Radhakrishnan, aged 36 years has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the first respondent dated 13.11.2014 against her brother branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Piracy Act 1982 [Act 14 of 1982].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the first respondent as against the brother of the petitioner herein dated 13.11.2014 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.206, Home, Prohibition & Excise [X] Department dated 09.01.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
