ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the 3rd respondent to appoint the petitioner as Village Assistant in S. Kolapakkam Village Panchayat, Vikravandi Taluk, Villupuram District, on the basis of the interview held on 25.09.2015.

2.Denying the claim of the petitioner, the respondents 2 & 3 filed counter affidavits in this writ petition stating that the selected candidate joined duty on 05.11.2015 afternoon. 3.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that due to efflux of time, this writ petition may be closed, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned for any other relief.

4.Granting such liberty, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
