This petition is filed under the provisions of Article 226 of the Constitution of India to produce the detenu namely Dinesh Kumar, son of Kothandan, aged about 32 years, who is said to be under illegal custody of the third respondent, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the said detenu was arrested and remanded to judicial custody in connection with a case in Crime No.172 of 2017 for the offence punishable under Section 384 I.P.C. on the file of Arapakkam Police Station.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed.
