Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records pertaining to the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent in detention order in Cr.M.P.No.04/2025 dated 18.02.2025 and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son namely Bakrudeen, S/o.Basheer, Male, aged about 26 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Trichy, before this Court and set him at liberty. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.1527, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 24.03.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the above submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
