This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by judgment and order dated 30.07.2019 passed in S.C.No.223 of 2016 on the file of the III Additional Sessions Court, Poonamallee and to enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the above appeal.

This Court on 16.09.2020 has rejected the plea of the petitioner to suspend the imposed on him by judgment and order dated 30.07.2019 passed in S.C.No.223 of 2016 on the file of the III Additional Sessions Court, Thiruvallur at Poonamallee and directed the Registry to prepare the typed set of papers and post the main appeal for hearing in the second week of October 2020.

Since the said order dated 16.09.2020 was passed on merits, we are not inclined to entertain the present criminal miscellaneous petition and the same stands dismissed.

However, as date has already been fixed for early disposal of the appeal, we are inclined to take up the main appeal for final hearing.
