PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore to dispose the case in C.C.No.1472 of 2021 on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore as earlier as possible in order to get back their original title deeds documents viz., Document Nos.4614 and 4615 registered in S.R.O.Oulgret which was deposited by the petitioners in the X Metropolitan Magistrate Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai to dispose the case in C.C.No.1472 of 2021.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate submits that pursuant to the registration of First Information Report, investigation completed, charge sheet filed and the case is now posted for appearance of the accused before the trial court. He submitted that there are only 22 witnesses in this case. The witnesses to be produced before the court without delay and the the trial can be completed with a time stipulated.

4.In view of the above, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
