ORDER

This petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 31.01.2022 within stipulated time period.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made an appeal on 31.01.2022 to the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the bogus entries and correct the EC entries of the house property by conducting proper enquiry. However till date no order was passed on the said appeal. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders, within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents submitted that the enquiry has been commenced and it has been posted for hearing the parties on 29.04.2022 and on that date, appropriate orders will be passed after hearing the necessary parties, including the petitioner and the private respondents herein.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, private respondents and other necessary parties. 6.This Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
