This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash C.C.No.4262 of 2019, pending on the file of the learned 23rd Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai.

2. Heard Mr.Vimal Bobby Crimson, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N. Kumarrajan, learned counsel for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner argued at length. When this Court expressed its opinion to dismiss the Criminal Original Petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Criminal Original Petition. He has also made an endorsement to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that effect.

4. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed as withdrawn.

5. At this stage, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner requested this Court to dispense with the presence of the petitioner.

6. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case, the presence of the petitioner before the Trial Court is dispensed with, except for receipt of copies, answering the charges, questioning under Section 313 Cr.P.C., or on any other date, as may be required by the trial Court. He shall be represented by a counsel, who shall cross examine the witnesses on the same day, when he was examined in Chief. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition Nos.4874 and 4875 of 2022 are closed.
