[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in Cr.M.P.No.11/Goonda/2016 dated 12.06.2016 by the Detaining https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Authority against the detenu by name, Tamil alias Dhanraj alias Stephen Dhanraj, aged 23 years, S/o Kailasam, residing at Door No.8/197, Kaliamman Koil Street, Pudhupatti, Dindugul Taluk, Dindugul District, and quash the same.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not present.

3. It is seen from the records that the detention order in question has been passed on 12.06.2016 and the period of detention is one year.

4. Considering the above said factual circumstances that the period of detention has already been completed, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
