O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2022 and consequently, to direct the 2nd respondent to register a sale deed in favour of the petitioner within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner states that he was offered a plot bearing Plot No.101 situated at K.K.Nagar, Ambattur, under TNUDP Scheme by the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 02.08.1995 and he had paid the necessary charges on 21.08.1995. Thereafter, the said plot was allotted to the petitioner by communication dated 12.09.1995 on regular Scheme. It is the case of the petitioner that he has paid the entire installment amounts to the respondent Board without any default within the prescribed period.

It is the contention of the petitioner that, since he has paid the entire sale consideration, he is entitled to get a sale deed registered in his favour. However, it is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondent Board is not coming forward to execute a sale deed in his favour. Therefore, the petitioner made representations to the respondents dated 07.02.2018, 27.02.2019 and 01.08.2022 in this regard.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a senior citizen aged 72 years and though he has paid the entire sale consideration, the respondents are not coming forward to execute a sale deed in favour of the petitioner and hence, seeks appropriate orders. 4.Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that this Court may direct the 2nd respondent to execute a sale deed in favour of the petitioner, if the petitioner has paid the entire sale consideration.

5.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to execute a sale deed in favour of the petitioner, if the petitioner has paid the entire sale consideration as per the terms of the allotment order, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
