ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to issue house tax receipt in the name of the petitioner for the schedule mentioned property.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner
is the owner of the schedule property comprised in Old S.No.151/8, New S.No.151/8B situated in Thammampatty Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District in pursuance of the execution of sale deed dated 30.11.2018. He would further submit that the petitioner made a representation dated 06.01.2023 before the first respondent seeking to issue house tax receipt in the name of the petitioner for the schedule mentioned property. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.
3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2023 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
4.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2023 on merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the aggrieved persons if any. Such exercise shall be carried out by the first respondent within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
