The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent not to consider the second respondent for promotion to the post of Professor under Career Advancement Scheme in the Department of Politics and Public Administration, without considering and passing order on the appeal dated 13.11.2009 preferred by the petitioner followed by reminder dated 28.09.2012. 2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent submitted that during the pendancy of the writ petition, both the petitioner and the second respondent were given promotion and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the first respondent to communicate the details of the decision taken in the petitioner's appeal dated 13.11.2009 and the reminder dated 28.09.2012, to the petitioner.
