Prayer in W.P.No.36101, 36102 & 36123/2015: Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent to provide police protection to ensure that the Petitioners' fundamental right to carry on their Cable Television Operator Services and it is not curbed in any manner whatsoever.

2. The petitioners seek police protection to conduct their Cable Television Operation Business in a peaceful and profitable manner. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted now. However, the petitioners are at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.
3. With the above observations, these Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
