Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to take appropriate steps to reconsider the petitioner's candidature for the 2nd financial upgradation in accordance with law and to extend the benefits thereunder to the petitioner from the year 2012, as per his eligibility as stipulated in MACP Scheme without being influenced by the decision taken by the Screening Committee Meetings previously done and to pass a reasoned order in such regard.

ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to take appropriate steps to reconsider the petitioner's candidature for the 2nd financial upgradation in accordance with law and to extend the benefits thereunder to the petitioner from the year 2012, as per his eligibility as stipulated in MACP Scheme without being influenced by the decision taken by the Screening Committee and to pass a reasoned order in this regard.
2.Upon notice, the respondents filed a detailed counter affidavit, inter alia stating that the petitioner has been granted 2nd financial up-gradation under MACP Scheme with effect from 01.01.2013 vide USO Part-I No.03/2017 issued under Letter No.E-27015/CISF/Doc/MACP/ 2017-257 dated 11.01.2017 by Commandant CISF unit SPM Hosangabad in the light of the revised guidelines issued under Letter No.E-42099/27/2009/Estt.I/23 dated 05.10.2016 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication. 3.The above averments made in the counter affidavit has been fairly conceded by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.Recording the above, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
