Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2.The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the first respondent to pass final order in the enquiry conducted by the second respondent dated 15.09.2017 by issuing joint patta in the name of both the petitioners herein.

3.The grievance of the petitioners is that though an enquiry has been conducted by the second respondent, the joint patta has not been issued by the second respondent to the petitioners so far.

4. This Court, at this stage, does not express any view on the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioners and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
