Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from opening TASMAC Shop at Door No.1/23, GST Road, Esa Palalvaram in Pallavaram Bus Stop based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2021 and consequently direct the respondents to ensure not to open TASMAC shops in Pallavaram Bus Stand.

(Order of the Court made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition as a Public Interest Litigation to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from opening TASMAC Shop at Door https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No.1/23, GST Road, Esa Palalvaram in Pallavaram Bus Stop based on his representation dated 29.09.2021 and consequently directing the respondents to ensure not to open TASMAC shops in Pallavaram Bus Stand.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. P.Muthukumar, learned Government Pleader, taking notice for the 1st respondent submitted that as of today, there is no proposal to open a TASMAC shop in the place referred above, hence, the Writ Petition filed by the petitioner is premature and liable to be dismissed.

3. Mr.V.V.Kathiresan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent, the Writ Petition may be closed.

4. The learned Government Pleader further submitted that in the even of the respondents opening a TASMAC shop, it is open to the petitioner to give a fresh representation.

5. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent, since there is no proposal to open a TASMAC shop in the place mentioned in the petition, the Writ Petition stands closed.
