2. Mr.D.B.R.Prabu, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Corporation of Chennai has placed a Status Report before this Court.

3. In the above said Status Report filed by the Executive Engineer, Zone-VI, it is stated that, pursuant to the order of this Court dated 27.03.2023, De-occupation notice dated 18.04.2023 was issued to the tenants of the 6th respondent. Subsequently, the 6th respondent had filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.14705/2023 praying to quash the above de-occupation notice dated 18.04.2023. The above said writ petition was disposed of by this Court dated 10.05.2023, directing the petitioner/6th respondent herein to approach the Appellate Authority by way of stay petition and also directing the authorities concerned to dispose the stay application within three weeks. Accordingly, the 6th respondent herein filed a stay petition before the Government and the same is pending for consideration by the first respondent herein and the further enforcement action will be taken as per the

provisions of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.
