PRAYER:Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2017 and consequently direct the respondents to measure the petitioner's property and earmark the boundaries to the property bearing S.Nos.164/10C and 164/10D, Pirathavimangalam village, Kallakurichi Taluk, Villupuram District. Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2017 and consequently direct the respondents to measure the petitioner's property and earmark the boundaries to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

property bearing S.Nos.164/10C and 164/10D, Pirathavimangalam village, Kallakurichi Taluk, Villupuram District. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the petitioner has paid necessary charges to survey the subject property, till this date, the respondents have not conducted any survey. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the survey of the subject matter property, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.11.2017, seeking to survey and earmark the boundaries of the subject property and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival contentions, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
