ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take immediate steps under the Revenue Recovery Act, 1864 to enforce the Order dated 29.03.2023 passed by the Joint Commissioner of Labour -II, Chennai in W.C.Case No.AA1/8956/2022 and thereby, to recover the Compensation amount of Rs.13,32,976/- with 12% interest from the fourth respondent / United India Insurance Company Ltd., and disburse the same to the petitioner, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is to be passed as against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's son, who was employed as a construction worker with M/s.Sanjay Home and Development Pvt. Ltd., met with an accident at his workplace on 09.05.2015 and succumbed to the injuries on 10.05.2015, for which the petitioner filed a case in W.C.CaseNo.A1/8956/2022 before the Joint Commissioner of LabourII, Chennai, as the deceased had valid insurance policy covering employees against workplace accidents and on 29.03.2023, the Joint Commissioner had awarded a compensation of Rs.13,32,976/- with 12% interest from the date of accident till realization. He further submitted that despite several notices and directions from the Labour Commissioner, District Collector and the Tahsildar under the Revenue Recovery Act, 1864, the fourth respondent has failed to pay the awarded compensation and hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to implement the order dated 29.03.2023 passed by the Joint Commissioner of Labour-II, Chennai in W.C.Case No.A1/8956/2022, if there is no other impediment in implementing the same, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the fourth respondent herein, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
