Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 19.06.2017 within a stipulated period of time and thereby direct the 4th respondent
to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of his property situated in Old No.8, New No.19, 6th street, Jaganathapuram, Chetpet, Chennai - 600 031 measuring an extent of 644 sq.ft.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 19.06.2017 in accordance with law within a time frame.
4.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal dated 19.06.2017 in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 19.06.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
