(CR.NO.05 OF 2021) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the conditions imposed in para 8. No.(b) in Crl.O.P.No. 3317/2022 dated 15.02.2022 and pass such further or other orders. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. G.NIRMAL KRISHNAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.LEONARD ARUL JOSEPH SELVAM,Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in para 8 No.(b) in Crl.OP.No.3317 of 2022 dated 15.02.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. While at the time of enlarging the petitioner on bail, this Court directed the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. for the period of 30 days. Later, by way of complying the said condition, the petitioner is appeared before the respondent police from 31.03.2022 to 19.04.2022. In this occasion, the petitioner is before this Court saying that he is a native of Trichy and therefore, it is difficult for him to appear before the respondent police and therefore, some modification is needed in the condition imposed by this Court vide order dated 15.02.2022.

4. Now on going through the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, the petition mentioned F.I.R. has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(a), 494, 420, 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC. Obviously, all the above referred sections are related to family disputes. Therefore, considering the possibility of settlement, this Court is inclined to modify the condition.

5. Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.OP.No.3317 of 2022 dated 15.02.2022 is modified as "the petitioner is directed to appear before the Sub Inspector of Police(L&O), Cantonment Police Station, Trichy daily at 10.00 a.m. for a period of two weeks alone. -sd/- 20/04/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
