This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the the second Respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the Petitioner's trade license application dated 08.03.2023 in respect of property situated at No.175, OMR Road, PTC, Thoraipakkam, Chennai 600 097 as expeditiously as possible by issuing trade license in favour of the Petitioner. 2.Mrs.Aswini Devi.R, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of Respondents 1 & 2. In view of the order, which is proposed to be passed, notice to the 3rd Respondent is dispensed with. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondents 1 & 2. 4.The contention of the learned counsel for the Petitioner is that Petitioner made an application for grant of trade license before the 1st Respondent, which 2/4

is coming under the jurisdiction of the 2nd Respondent and the same is pending. 5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of either side and taking into consideration the prayer sought for by the Petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the contention of the Petitioner, I am inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the Petitioner's application dated 08.03.2023 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed of, to the extent indicated above.
